Stella McCartney Spring 2012 Ad Campaign

I just had to do a post on Stella's ad campaign when I came across it. I love, love, LOVE, the contrast of the black and white model among the beautiful colored flowers. In general, I've always found black and white photos/graphics with a pop of color intriguing. I will def. have to do a seperate post on her collection as well.

Update

Whew, it's been a while since I've updated my blog! I'll probably have multiple blog posts a day since I've been lagging. It's my fourth week back to school since winter break and so far, I'm settling in well. This semester I'm taking, "Fashion Coordination" which is a course that deals with planning the annual fashion show at my college in May. As a class, the theme we came for this year's show is EVOKE.
I'll be blogging more updates about it once my class gets rolling. Needless to say, I feel rejuvenated and inspired again. I'm looking forward to a great semester :)

Just in case

you forget who I am (since I haven't posted up any recent pictures of myself), here's me on a bored warm winter day
"If at first you don't succeed, try, and try again."

H&M Dresses

Bridesmaid Dress

My cousin spotted out this dress while we were browsing through H&M and thought I should try it on. I took it off the rack, tried it on, and fell in love with it! Though the material of this dress wasn't what I was looking for, the style of this dress was what I was looking for. Something simple and NOT strapless. I think the tulle gives this dress a ballerina look and the exposed silver zipper at the back adds an edge to it. Instead of coral and green as the colors for my cousins wedding as it was previously, the theme is now Sparkles. So I'm planning to go to Joanns and buy a diamond chain to use as a belt. I can't wait to post up photos from the wedding soon!
Grey Elegance
I told myself I wasn't going to spend any more money on clothes, but of course I just couldn't help myself when I walked into H&M's winter sale. I spotted this dress right away and was hesitant at first to buy it, but after trying it on, I knew I had to get it. I think this dress gives off an elegant and sophisticated feel. Besides, this dress was on sale for only $10, I couldn't pass up on that offer ;P

Lee Da Hae

Style February 2010
I love all of her outfits, especially the third dress. I also lover her makeup and how voluminous her hair is. Her makeup looks very natural and doable, but whenever I attempt what I like to call the natural Korean makeup look, it just never turns out well for me. Ahaha, one dya I hope I run into a Korean makeup artist so she can give me a few pointers on how to achieve their flawless look or better yet, she can give me a makeover. Her long hair also makes me miss my long hair. Oh hair, please grow back soon.

The first and only time I've watched a drama Lee Da Hae was in, was when I watched My Girl in middle school. It was one of the first few Korean dramas I've watched and I loved it! She was such a great actress and portrayed her character really well. Of course I can't forgot the heart throb, Lee Dong Wok. Still today, I think he's one of the most handsome Korean actors.
