Gowns, Gowns and more Gowns

If I haven't mentioned it before, I am in love with gowns! Gowns of all kinds, evening, prom, wedding and of all styles, princess, mermaid, sleek-you name it. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't mind wearing gowns everyday, EXcept, for the fact that I know I would get weird stares and be talked about wherever I would go. IF only I didn't care to much about what others thoughts of me would be, I would definitely wear them everywhere. Until that happens, here are a few of my favorite gowns from various designers.

I think this gown looks beautiful in both red and white.

Lanvin Spring RTW 2011
I love the color combination and the high-low style!

Timeless Beauty

Camilla Belle is truly a beauty! Here are two of my favorite dresses she wore to past events.

Camilla Belle
I saw a picture of her in this dress a few years ago in Teen Vogue and absolutely fell in love with it! The dress was designed by Yves Saint Laurent and it literally filled my mind for days. It got to the point where I was like, "Ok, I am going to make a dress exactly like hers!" So my mom and I took a trip to Joannes, I got all of the fabric I needed and came home to sew on my mom's old sewing machine. LOL, unfortunately that failed because I have no sewing skills and I'm not the type of person who's able to self teach themselves. *Sigh, well at least I can say I tried right? Who knows, maybe in the future, I'll be able to sew after taking a few sewing classes.

Again, she looks absolutely stunning in the red dress.

Update On Group Project

Just last week, one of my group members and I met to discuss our part of the project, which was to create an advertisement for our group design. My group member came up with the slogan while writing her part about our target customer and together we came up with the design concept.
Look for our ads in your local Lucky and Cosmo magazines! LOL

Yikes, the quality isn't too great in JPEG format, but this will do.

P.S. The design majors in my group actually drew the clothing/models. Skillls, I tell ya.

For those who are still in school, Happy Studying! For those who are already out, lucky you!

Jay Park♥

I've been so busy "preparing" for finals that I haven't been blogging as much as I would like to. Anyhow, here are some photos of a pop up birthday card I made for Jay Park last month. As some of you may or may not know, last month was the Korean Music Festival in LA and Jay Park was one of the feature guest. I was really excited, for one thing, my cousins and their friends who were attending this event was going to get to meet him(!) and I was quite sad that I wouldn't be able to go with them due to moolah issues.
Therefore, I decided to make him one of my famous pop up birthday card AND add in coupons for him and gave it to my cousin to give it to him, since they were going to stay at the same hotel as all of the celebrities. My cousin ended up giving the card to one of his friend from his Art of Movement (AOM) crew to give to Jay Park and she recorded Jay Park's younger brother and his friend Cha Cha Malone talking about the card for me. Haha, that def. goes to prove that Jay Park got the card=)  *Sigh, all of my love in one neat card. Enjoy!
