Betseyville
Can you believe I haven't uploaded any new songs into my IPOD for almost three years now! Phew, talk about how fast time flies by. So this summer, one of my summer projects is to re-vamp my playlist and add new songs and music videos into my ipod. I guess one of the reasons why I haven't been consistent with uploading new songs onto it is because I really don't carry it anywhere with me and only listen to it when I'm on the bus/plane back home from college. However, this year, I will make more use of it and carry it with me wherever I go. Haha, sometimes I just can't help but to wish I had "Stuck In The Moment" by Justin Bieber playing when I'm on the six hour+ bus ride home.

♥Betseyville IPOD Case♥
I remember the first thing I wanted to do when my brother gave me his old ipod was to get a cute case for it. I was, and still am today, a sucker for anything cute! Browsing through the shelves of cases at Best Buy, I couldn't seem to find anything cute or to my liking UNTIL- I came across a cute collection of ipod cases by Betsey Johnson, called "Betseyville." I was super excited and probably spent at least thirty minutes debating on which design to get for my case. Blue or Pink? Haha, tough decision right? Well in the end, I decided to get the blue studded case and couldn't be happier. Here are some recent pictures of me showcasing the cute case I got three years ago. LOL, please don't mind my messy hair.

A Taste of Japan
For some reason, it's really hard for me to find and view collections of Asian designers online, however-THANKFULLY Fashion Snaps has a section on their website dedicated to Asian designers, primarily from Japan. I was able to look through a few fashion show photos and the ones below are some of my favorites from the many different collection of designers there were. If you haven't already, make sure to check out the website at www.fashionsnaps.com.

Wedding Fever
One of my cousins is getting married next June and boy am I excited! I'm excited to be part of the wedding party and helping her plan out everything that is needed in order to make a wedding, a wedding. From our mom's side of the family, she is the eldest grandchild and the first one to get married. She's an amazing woman whose accomplished many things and she has set a lot of great example for all of her younger cousins to follow. In the midst of the wedding fever, I do have mixed feelings about everything. Of course I am happy that she found someone great to spend the rest of her life with, however, I'm feeling a bit sad because though we'll still get to see each other, things won't be the same.
ANYHOW-onto the wedding plans.
My cousin has decided on coral and green to be the color theme and decided to have all of the bridesmaids wear black dresses and incorporate our assigned color into our outfit. Why black? As most bridesmaid dresses are usually worn only once, my cousin wanted us to be able to wear our dresses again to other events, therefore, black was the perfect color. Besides, who wouldn't want to add another black dress to their collection of "Little Black Dresses."
Here are a few dress styles that I like. I'm aiming for a dress with a nice neckline like a few of the ones below. I was assigned to accessorize my dress with coral accessories, so if I end up buying a dress with a nice neckline, I'll find myself a pair of bold coral earrings. If I end up buying a strapless dress, I'll find myself a bold coral necklace.

Ahh, it's so hard to make a decision when there are so many options to choose from.

Gowns, Gowns and more Gowns
If I haven't mentioned it before, I am in love with gowns! Gowns of all kinds, evening, prom, wedding and of all styles, princess, mermaid, sleek-you name it. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't mind wearing gowns everyday, EXcept, for the fact that I know I would get weird stares and be talked about wherever I would go. IF only I didn't care to much about what others thoughts of me would be, I would definitely wear them everywhere. Until that happens, here are a few of my favorite gowns from various designers.
I think this gown looks beautiful in both red and white.

Timeless Beauty
Camilla Belle is truly a beauty! Here are two of my favorite dresses she wore to past events.
Again, she looks absolutely stunning in the red dress.

Camilla Belle
I saw a picture of her in this dress a few years ago in Teen Vogue and absolutely fell in love with it! The dress was designed by Yves Saint Laurent and it literally filled my mind for days. It got to the point where I was like, "Ok, I am going to make a dress exactly like hers!" So my mom and I took a trip to Joannes, I got all of the fabric I needed and came home to sew on my mom's old sewing machine. LOL, unfortunately that failed because I have no sewing skills and I'm not the type of person who's able to self teach themselves. *Sigh, well at least I can say I tried right? Who knows, maybe in the future, I'll be able to sew after taking a few sewing classes.![]() | ||||||

Update On Group Project
Just last week, one of my group members and I met to discuss our part of the project, which was to create an advertisement for our group design. My group member came up with the slogan while writing her part about our target customer and together we came up with the design concept.
Look for our ads in your local Lucky and Cosmo magazines! LOL

Yikes, the quality isn't too great in JPEG format, but this will do.
P.S. The design majors in my group actually drew the clothing/models. Skillls, I tell ya.
For those who are still in school, Happy Studying! For those who are already out, lucky you!
Jay Park♥
I've been so busy "preparing" for finals that I haven't been blogging as much as I would like to. Anyhow, here are some photos of a pop up birthday card I made for Jay Park last month. As some of you may or may not know, last month was the Korean Music Festival in LA and Jay Park was one of the feature guest. I was really excited, for one thing, my cousins and their friends who were attending this event was going to get to meet him(!) and I was quite sad that I wouldn't be able to go with them due to moolah issues.
Therefore, I decided to make him one of my famous pop up birthday card AND add in coupons for him and gave it to my cousin to give it to him, since they were going to stay at the same hotel as all of the celebrities. My cousin ended up giving the card to one of his friend from his Art of Movement (AOM) crew to give to Jay Park and she recorded Jay Park's younger brother and his friend Cha Cha Malone talking about the card for me. Haha, that def. goes to prove that Jay Park got the card=) *Sigh, all of my love in one neat card. Enjoy!
