70's Vibe
I just wanted to upload the "brieft" (I know I still have to go in and fix a few things, especially the white blotch on the upper left hand corner) concept board I made for my Product Analysis class as part of my group assignment. Our group project is to come up with our own line of clothing (including fabric details, where we're planning to have it produce, how we're planning to market our product and everything imaginable that deals with clothes in production). We decided as a group to go with a 70s theme and were inspired by the color blocks and floral designs. There are two merchandisers (me being one of them) and two designer in my group and let me tell you, the designers are bomb! I don't know what I would do without design students in my group, I would definietly be lost. So far, we're doing pretty good, all we have to do is start putting everything together on a bigger board. All of the projects will be presented in class on May 19th in a 10-15 minute presentation, until then, wish us luck.
After deciding on a theme for our clothing and coming up with finished designs, the last thing we had to worry about was coming up with a name for our company. Since our target market are young women in their 20s, we decided to incorporate 20 in there somewhere and came up with Chics 20.
